Auto-playing video ads soon on Facebook

If you already hate sponsored ads plugging up your Facebook news feed, just wait until you see what could be coming in the next few weeks. Facebook is preparing to introduce video ads as early as June or July, according to AdAge. Here’s the real kicker: The report claims those ads will start auto-playing the second they hit your news feed.

I  think this is horrendous!  Who wants ads in your face when you open your Facebook feed? Wish my friends were on G+

Videogame Strategy Inspires Teen’s Amazing Diet

How about this for an enormous change.  A teen in the US lost 150 pounds in 8 months after devising a system that used a similar principle to a computer game.  He equated calories to money, and thus losing weight was more fun! 

This is a really interesting concept to me, and the proof of the weight loss is definately there.  Good on him.
